For assessment bodies and consultants

A head start you can sell with your own service

If you prepare several firms for their visits, the assessment body licence gives you something to bundle with the work you already do: each client completes its own SchemeReady assessment before your day with them, so you arrive to a scored gap list, the evidence locations and a draft action plan instead of a blank notebook. One tool, one set of question banks and one format of report for every client, each kept in its own account.

Priced on request: what you pay depends on how many firms you look after and which standards they hold, and you get a figure back within two working days.

What the assessment body licence adds

A readiness assessment is a service in its own right. Bundle it into a pre-visit package, an internal audit day or a gap analysis, or offer it to members as a benefit, and every client starts from the same questions and the same scoring.

Invite the firms you work with

Each firm you invite gets its own account and completes its own assessment, with its own people and its own password that you never hold. Nothing from one firm appears in another's account.

Read the full report

Once a firm completes, you read the report it can print itself: every question, answer and note, where the evidence is kept, the site visits and the action plan. Every time you open it, the firm sees that you did. Ten people on your side, on any devices.

A head start before your day

The client answers the questions in its own time, before you arrive. More of the day you charge for goes on closing gaps rather than finding them, and the report tells you where to look first.

Every client in one list

Your clients screen shows each firm you have invited, whether they have accepted, how far through they are and the band they are heading for, and tells you the moment a report is ready to read. Comparable across clients, because every one answered the same questions.

AI reviews metered per client

The AI evidence review is included and metered, so you can run it on a client's documents without buying the Pro upgrade for each one. The app shows what is left.

Everything in Standard

Every office section of the standards you pick, the site module, every deliverable, unlimited site visits, and results readable for six months after each firm completes. The six standards are ISO 9001 and sector schemes 12D, 12A/B, 12C, 16 and 23. Every sector scheme applies ISO 9001, so it brings the ISO 9001 core with it and a client is scored against both without paying for ISO 9001 twice.

How a consultant tends to use it

  1. Set the client up

Create the organisation, pick the standards on the client's certificate, set the profile from the categories, and add the visit date if you know it. Where two of their standards ask the same question it is asked once, and each standard is scored on its own.

  2. Answer with the client, or let them answer

Work through the office sections together in an afternoon, or invite the firm and let them fill in what they know in their own account. Where two people answer the same question differently, the later answer counts and the earlier one is shown rather than thrown away.

  3. Walk a site

Do the site walk on your phone on your next visit. The dated record goes into the client's file and the report.

  4. Hand over the pack

Generate the report, the action plan and the evidence list, and leave the client with the registers workbook to keep up.

How to sell it

Three shapes work. A pre-visit package: the client completes the assessment, you read the report, and your day on site starts with the action plan. A membership benefit: a trade association gives every member firm an assessment against the standards it holds, and sees at a glance where the membership stands. An internal audit programme: the assessment is the desk review, your visit is the audit, and the registers workbook is what the client keeps up between them.

If a client asks whether the report means they will get through the visit, the honest answer is the one on every report: it is a self-assessment of what they told the tool, not a forecast of what an assessor will find.
